Okta Provisioning (SCIM) Guide

Updated 3 months ago by Aubrie Przybysz

You will need a Drafted Enterprise account to access Okta Provisioning (SCIM). Please contact support@drafted.us if you need to upgrade.

The following provisioning features are supported:

Push New Users

New users created through OKTA will also be created in Drafted.

Push Profile Updates

Updates made to the user's profile through OKTA will be pushed to Drafted.

Push User Deactivation

Deactivating the user or disabling the user's access to the application through OKTA will deactivate the user in Drafted.

Reactivate Users

User accounts can be reactivated in Drafted.

Import Users

Existing Drafted users can be imported into Okta. Drafted users will be matched to Okta users based on the user's e-mail address.

Silent Provisioning: All accounts created are created silently without sending users welcome emails.
Note: For this application, deactivating a user means preventing them from logging in and some data is kept.

This integration is enabled on a case-by-case basis. To receive approval from Drafted to continue with this integration email support@drafted.us.

Only Group Admins, Hiring Managers, and Recruiters can enable this integration.

  2. API Authentication:
    1. Click Configure API Integration

Provisioning Configuration

Please make sure that you set the Application username format to “Okta username”.

Select the provisioning features that you'd like to use. Please see the list above for the features we support.

Troubleshooting Tips

Currently all users provisioned through Okta will be signed up as Employees on Drafted. Please contact a Recruiter or Group Admin if you need a greater set of permissions in Drafted.
